What to bring to Camp Mechuwana for overnight.

We recommend you bring the following supplies and/or equipment, in addition to your regular clothing. The weather should be lovely and warm, but we suggest you be prepared for cool nights and rain.

  • Sleeping bag, blankets, pillows
  • Flashlights
  • Toiletries
  • Towels/washcloths
  • Water bottle
  • Swimming gear
  • Warm clothes ( i.e. sweater, long pants)
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Alarm clock (suggest battery or wind-up)
  • First aid supplies for minor injuries,headaches,etc.
  • Trash bag for your cabin
  • Rain gear/ umbrellas (just in case)
  • Outdoor chair
  • Insect repellent

**The cabins are not air conditioned and the camp
does not provide fans. There is electricity.
